Location: Newport News, Virginia

John 15:13-"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

JOHN 15:13-GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS, THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. Sean D.Williams, REST IN PEACE, BRO. IT SEEMS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY YOU AND I WERE CHILLIN IN THE BACK OF THE CHORUS BUS, AS THE BEST TENORS, MAN. I GOT TO CAMPUS LATE, THE DAY YOU PASSED, BUT I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU. LOVE YOU, BRO.

I remember if you ever heard his voice, you would have thought it was an angel singing.

If you remember Sean, what did you remember about him?

"Wow there are so many memories of daddy I have I don't know where to start. I do know that since his 5th grade year he took me under his wing as his baby girl so he was my first positive male figure. He made it a point to protect me and make sure I wasn't gettin into any trouble lol And honestly he was one of the very few I trusted because I know he always had my best interest at heart. He might have had his issues but that was my daddy and I still wish I had somebody I could count on like that. Lets celebrate his life, laughter and talent cause daddy was the baddest. lol"

Honestly, I felt closer to him then any of my actual blood brothers. He was a big part of my life and will continue to always be. I remember when I would challenge him to dance. He was the king, but I've never been beating. There is no one in this world I will ever appreciate more than Sean: for his heart, determination, and just all 'round loving individual. You are probably looking down on us all right now seeing the appreciation of all those who have come to know you. Just want to let you know. Lil Brother, I love you, miss you dearly, and I know this may be cliche, but we will meet again.

Sigh, I've been avoiding writing, because I knew it would make me cry. I met Sean in either kindergarten or first grade; we were in the same class. I remember one time my mom asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he said "a hairdresser", haha. After years of going to different schools, we ended high school together. I was in drama; he was in chorus. We did musicals our Junior and Senior plays, and he had leading roles in both of them. He was always singing; not just the songs for the shows, but other songs. His voice was so beautiful. Shortly after he died, I found a recording of a song that DHS Chorus did, that he soloed in: "Ain't Got Time to Die". Chills went up and down my spine; I know Heaven has another angel in it's choir. ♥

"He was a very good friend. Someone you can always talk to. I remember when we were in the tenth grade he bought my oldest son Ja'Sheem a pair of shoes. He did have to do that but he did.
